I just have to say I have been enjoying the nurse Alissa series very much. I am currently on the third one.
One thing that I really got into right away is the realism of the world. I was able to Google map Alissa's journey out of Boston. However my real delight came two fold a bit later when the group traveled across NH. You see, I am from Moultonboro, so reading an accurate story based in my home town was surreal. Later when the other group were at the New Hampton fire department I knew they were coming up to 93 and the gas stations before they said in the books (fyi, you said they were on 112 at this point, it is actually 104). Being able to use memory to augment my imagination has been truly wonderful and I really cannot wait to read the rest.
