I'll slowly be returning to social media this weekend. I thank you all for your patience and the kind thought over Walther and Bella.
Last week I said I was taking time off from writing to clear my head. I sort of lied. The hiatus gave me a chance to grieve and get caught up on a lot of chores around the house. While I've stayed away from social media (it's frightening how much time us writers spend on it), after a few days I jumped back into writing because it means so much to me. I got a lot accomplished.
The good news: I finally finished the first round of edits on Nurse Alissa vs. the Zombies VII: New Beginnings. I should have the final review done soon and then will release it on Kindle and in print. I'll be doing a full cover reveal next week and will let you know when it's available for pre-order.
One of the reasons it took so long to write Nurse Alissa 8 is because so many fans asked if the books could be longer, so I obliged. The novel is 70,000 words in length. If this one doesn't make you stay up late to finish it, horrify you, and cause you to cry, then I'll give up writing horror and switch to something else. Maybe espionage. Maybe porn. Maybe espionage porn.
Schwester Alissa gegen die Zombies III: Feuersturm went up for pre-order today. I started working on a short story for the Horror Writers Ink anthology due out this summer and my segment for a collaborative espionage novel being written by several former Agency writers; I'll pass along more details on these projects as they become available. I also plan to start working on the next book in the Tatyana paranormal series by the end of the month.
It's good to be back and I look forward to chatting with you all again.
