What begins as a beautiful summer day ends in disaster when a massive solar flare strikes the Earth, burning out all electronic devices around the planet and plunging the world into darkness.

Kirstie and her high school friends are stranded at an amusement park in southern New Hampshire with no way to return to their homes outside of Concord. Her mother, Danielle, is trapped in Boston when the disaster strikes; rather than seeking shelter in the city, she begins the long and dangerous journey home to find her daughter. Kirstie’s uncle, Shawn, the shift supervisor at the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant, must find a way to prevent the reactor from melting down before millions die of radiation poisoning.

As society collapses, each family member must find a way to stay alive, even if it means doing things they never imagined themselves capable of.

Can they survive the first five days of the apocalypse? Will they ever see each other again?

The Ravaged Skies Campaign Is Underway

For those who have not heard of this campaign, beginning on 2 January 2025, fifteen post-apocalyptic writers will be releasing a series of books based on a single incident -- a massive solar flare that destroys anything that runs on electricity across the globe. Each author will write about the event from their own point of view, but all books are in a shared universe. Three of the fifteen writers contributing to Ravaged Skies, including myself, have already put their books on pre-order. Great news!!! The pre-order for the Kindle version of A World Gone Dark, the first book in the Ravaged Skies saga, is available for pre-order. The book is scheduled for release on 2 January 2025. Cover Reveal for A World Gone Dark

As promised, here is the cover reveal for A World Gone Dark, the first book in my new series which is part of the Ravaged Skies saga. Ravaged Skies is an adventurous undertaking by fifteen authors who are writing about the same apocalyptic event -- a massive solar flare that destroys all electronics around the globe.

A World Gone Dark, the premiere book in the series, is scheduled for release on 2 January 2025. I'll be providing a link to the pre-order and a sample chapter within the next two weeks.

What is Ravaged Skies?

The date is 12 July. A massive corona ejection from the Sun generates a solar flare that envelops the globe, burning out the world's generators and disabling most electrical appliances. Without the modern conveniences we have come to expect in our daily lives, humanity must learn to adapt if it hopes to survive in a world plunged into darkness and chaos, 

Ravaged Skies is a collaborative effort by fifteen post-apocalypse authors who will each write about the solar event from different perspectives. Each book will be published every few weeks over the course of seven months in 2025, documenting the world's most apocalyptic event since Noah's flood.
