I'm pleased and excited to announce that I have just signed a contract with Permuted Press to publish my first zombie novel, Rotter World, as both an e-book and a trade paperback. A publication date has not been set yet, but right now it appears as though the book may be out in early 2012. Of course, I'll keep everyone posted.
Below is the blurb for Rotter World:
Eight months ago, vampires stole the Revenant Virus from a government research lab and released it on mankind, resulting in the near extinction of the human and vampire races. Now the last coven of vampires and a small group of human survivors have joined forces and are riding out the zombie apocalypse in an isolated location in Maine. However, their uneasy alliance is tested with the arrival of Doctor Compton, the creator of the Revenant Virus, who claims to have a vaccine that will allow mankind to take back civilization from the living dead. The only problem is that the vaccine is at a secure underground facility outside of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, more than five hundred miles away.
A raiding party is sent out to retrieve the vaccine, traveling through a world overrun by rotters and filled with unimaginable danger. The partnership between humans and vampires is strained to its limit as both sides try to survive against hordes of zombies and rape gangs. However, none of the horrors they encounter on the road compares with what waits for them in Pennsylvania. The final battle inside the facility pits the living, living dead, and undead against each other, with the fate of civilization hanging in the balance.
